About the role:
Maintain a good relationship with customers, retailers and centre management.Leading and Supervising other guards on shift (i.e. managing breaks and duties)Observing and reportingResponding to emergencies and threats as neededControlling mall access including lock up/unlock dutiesEscalate issues, concerns and events to the Site Security manager.Incident and Daily reportingMonitor CCTVActive patrolling of the mallAbout you: Some security experience or a Green COA Security License is advantageous; however if not & you are the right person, we can help you obtain one if you are 18 years old or over, have a clean criminal record & eligible to work in NZ.Must be available to work overnight shifts – and must be available to work at least one weekend night each week.Able to take directives on board from Operations ManagersStrong communication skills to be able to interact and communicate with the client and take directives.Must be professional, reliable, confident & honestPossess the ability to engage & build relationships with a diverse range of people.Must be highly skilled in communication and leadershipPossess a professional work ethic and desire to take responsibilityStrong focus on delivering high quality security-solutionsExcellent verbal & written English communication skills and attention to detailPhysical fitness – able to walk and stand for long periods of time
