Retail Sales Manager

This is a hands-on, fast-paced role, and you need to move quickly to be able to keep up.
Must have previous National or Senior Regional Management experience with a recent grounding in fashion and/or luxury.
This isn't an entry-level role in multisite - applicants should have strong financial acumen and demonstrated experience in leading a large team in a fashion or luxury environment.
THE ROLE Coach, mentor, and influence the retail teams (Stylists + Store Managers) - deliver strong operational standards, and improve sales performance and customer experience.
Align retail operations with business goals and strategies to attract more customers to the boutiques.
Effectively manage any issues including operations, human resources, and stock availability.
Take a proactive approach to managing costs in the area by identifying and capitalizing on opportunities to improve profitability.
Reports to the kiwi Directors - offshore.
THE RIGHT FIT RETAILER This is not a desk job - great retail leaders know they need to lead from the front and this role is no different.
With the Directors working from abroad, you will be the face and voice of the business.
Accountability and autonomy are assured.
Multi-site management experience is essential - minimum 5 years managing 8+ boutiques.
Experience in both corporate and private-label premium fashion is of interest.
Fashion-focused - stylist and V.M trained.
Excellent interpersonal skills - you are adaptable and balanced in your communication.
Strong people focus - able to identify talent, lead, and implement change at all levels.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all activities.
Self-motivated to achieve results and deadlines - calm under pressure.
