Under the direction of the Marketing Manager NZ, this position is responsible for the implementation of all Advertising and Marketing campaigns, Local Store Marketing, Social Media activity, and other campaign initiatives, including brief development, creative processing, results analysis & reporting for the Helloworld Travel branded & Associate networks, The Travel Brokers, My Travel Group and Williment Travel. As the new Marketing Coordinator, you will source and maintain all promotional and year-round products within all group media initiatives and ensure offline initiatives are presented in an online environment, to help facilitate business to meet and exceed departmental sales targets through positive customer retention. Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities As the Marketing Coordinator, you will be responsible for: Implementing all activity across all media channels in line with the requirements of the Marketing Manager. Working with the GO Holidays Product Manager/s and Team to design and create innovative marketing communications. All advertising and product promotions both ABL and BTL. Briefing creative and media agencies and working closely with them to proof check and deliver copy in a timely manner for campaigns. Ensuring that online product/airfare content and ongoing campaigns are displayed accurately on the website. Working with internal and external suppliers to ensure that website content is displayed correctly via XML feeds, Gflyer, and 3rd party links. Engaging social media channels and supporting stores with their social media enquiries. Supporting stores with wedding registry and microsite enquiries. Monitoring search engine optimisation (SEO) to improve SEO performance. SEM, monitoring Google Paid search performance and working with agencies to ensure it performs well (analytics reporting). Maintaining relationships with the web development company, working with them to enhance user experience of the website, and performing testing of all work done to the website. Making changes to the website to accommodate promotional activities including online competitions and giveaways. Attending and assisting with presentations at retail conferences, regional meetings, and other relevant meetings when required. Supporting and assisting franchisees with local store marketing activity across all media channels. Working with the online team to ensure they are briefed on all above-the-line activity. Qualifications & Skills In order to be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills: Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Marketing and/or Marketing Communications preferred. 2-3 years of work experience in a marketing or related field. Computer literacy, specifically with Microsoft, Adobe, and InDesign products. Competent knowledge and experience of CMS and the internet in general. Competent in working with internal and external suppliers. Effective time management with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet critical path deadlines. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work in a team environment. Familiarity with the NZ travel industry. Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing.
