Eligibility Criteria: Diploma or higher Qualification in Business Management Atleast 1-2 years' experience as Retail Store Manager Must have experience working in a retail service station outlet Must be ready to work in a rostered 7-day week operation Must be ready to work in early start or late finish rostered shifts Summary of Job Responsibilities: Manage all aspects of the retail outlet independently as a profit centre Ensure efficient and profitable day-to-day running of the outlet Organize the operation and administration of staff in the outlet Assigning work to and monitoring work performance of staff Manage and motivate a team to increase sales and ensure efficiency Ensure the staff organize and display the merchandise in the outlet Manage retail stock auditing on a periodic basis to ensure adequate stock Control stocks through ordering, stock control and waste management Negotiate and place orders for stock from suppliers and vendors Check all inwards goods and present weekly audit reports to the Director Setting the fuel selling prices based on the weekly purchase prices Setting and adjusting the selling prices of all retail products in the store Organizing local promotions, displays, and specials at different times of the year Make a consistent effort to promote and advertise the business Proactively plan and manage shop hours and staffing budgets to ensure the profitability is achieved consistently Make decisions according to Company policies and record the results Follow all established systems and processes as per the Company policies Act as a role model and coach to all staff for customer service at all times Understand all product mix and advise products to meet customer requirements Be personally available to all customers to communicate and identify their needs and address their questions, concerns, or complaints Deal with all customer complaints and maintain excellent service standard Responsible to report to police for any fuel drive-off or shop lifting/break-ins Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales transaction reports Reconcile all cash/EFTPOS transactions and banking on a daily basis Collect, analyse, and act on any competitor price movement and promotions Provide proactive feedback to management about any changes required Responsible for selection, training, and performance management of staff Organize induction and product training for new staff Instructing staff on how to handle difficult and complicated sales procedures Manage any conflicts between the staff to ensure outlet performance Prepare periodic shift roster for all staff and maintain timesheets Ensure the business and staff compliance with Health & Safety Regulations Maintaining a clean, hygienic, safe store environment for customers and staff Conduct housekeeping on a daily basis and ensure all staff adhere to those standards Ensuring Security CCTV is always maintained and operational Maintain First Aid Kit and other safety equipment onsite in the outlet Please apply with a detailed CV and your NZ visa status within 15 days.
