We have a brilliant opportunity for a Retail Manager to join us at our Whakatane stores, Briscoes and Rebel Sport. You will be part of a multi-site / multi-brand retail management team, working closely with the Business Manager for the area, with plenty of opportunities for collaboration. You will need to have a positive can-do attitude and LOVE to provide top-notch customer service. We're looking for someone who will be a great fit for our team and will have transferable skills if they haven't worked in big box retail before. We need a like-minded person to join our enthusiastic and highly-productive team!
This position is full time, working Sunday to Thursday.
Key ResponsibilitiesBeing responsible for coaching and mentoring team members to meet and exceed targetsBeing accountable for the profitability of the store/s within the PCActively leading by exampleEnsuring administrative and audit processes are followedHaving proven skills associated with maintaining the integrity of inventoryMaintain a safe environment for our people and customers through actively promoting "safety first" in everything we doMinimum RequirementsPossess a passion for the retail industry5+ years of relevant experience, ideally in a similar role in a big-box retail settingWanting to build your career in retail managementPrior experience leading staff within the retail environmentDemonstrating strong creative, strategic, analytical, organizational and personal sales skillsHave a high level of business acumen and excellent communication skillsAble to work autonomously and be self-motivated, and working as a team playerEnthusiastic and calm under pressureReliableAbility to multi-task and see the big pictureFlexibility to work rostered shifts including weekends and eveningsAbout the CompanyBriscoe Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer, a partner of First Foundation and a proud supporter of Cure Kids.
