As Manager in our Christchurch branch, you will deliver the utmost in efficient and excellent customer service. The branch is one of the best performers nationally in our group. The role is to meet all retail sales objectives and to provide support to the small team by assisting in the supervision of staff and dealing with all customer queries and sales procedures in a responsible and mature manner. We offer a personal shopping experience to our customers, so building customer relationships and rapport is pinnacle to this role as is Management ability. There is excellent support from Head Office and training will be provided. There may be some Saturday work.An active involvement within the equestrian community is absolutely necessary.Proven Retail and Outstanding Customer Service experienceAble to work under pressure and regularly meet deadlines in a multi-skilled, multi-tasking environmentAble to use initiative and have a positive team inclusive culturePossess strong communication and interpersonal skillsFlexible, Reliable and AccurateBroad knowledge of equestrian products, their uses and applicationsComputer literate and have budget management experience.Experience in daily banking, stock management, stock taking and staff management is an advantageExperience with Point of sale computing and Back office reports would be an advantageHorse lovers will be preferredRemuneration is with a market competitive wage and generous staff discounts.
