Retail Compliance Supervisor - PAK'nSAVE Hastings PAK'nSAVE Hastings has an exciting opportunity within their Leadership team in the role of Retail Compliance Supervisor. There is a large opportunity in our Store to meld together responsibilities that relate within the Retail, loss prevention and compliance spaces. Reporting to our Assistant Store Manager, this role is seated in Store standards and presentation, staff productivity, loss prevention of product and time, as well as compliance in terms of Foodstuffs' promotional and pricing programs, the PAK'nSAVE Hastings Fuel Site, and store Health & Safety practices. Assisting with the Management of a small team of Retail Assistants that are delegated tasks throughout the store to promote proper productivity and task completion, you will also monitor department staffto ensure service and productivity levels are maintained. The days and hours of the position are as follows: Sunday to Thursday 11.30am-9.00pm - 45 hours per week - for the right candidate, there is the potential for this to be a 4-day work week, working 10.30am-9pm - 40 hours per week Duties include, but are not limited to: Co-ordinate staff in conjunction with other store supervisors andDepartment Managers to ensure all areas of the store are full and that staffare utilized in other departments when not productive. Circulating around the shopfloor on a regular basis to ensure the maintenance of the store's overallappearance. Controlling store security(e.g. ensure the rear store door is locked and secured. ), provide camerafootage through investigations where necessary and monitor cameras when necessaryduring peak store times Ensuring end of dayprocedures are completed as per individual department requirements EnsureLiquor compliance by contributing to the correct sale of alcohol across theStore as a Liquor approver with Managers Certificate Ensuringthe safety behaviour of all staff, especially new,inexperienced and temporarystaff, as well as contractors are properly managed through effectivesupervision Ensure full operation and compliance of the fuel site including but not limited to completion of all checks, fuel audits complete, upkeep and administration of roster for Fuel Site Maintain a standard ofdiscipline which reflects in high standards of behaviour and dress as requiredby the Foodstuffs format and Owner. To succeed in this role you will need: Loss Prevention or Duty Management experience Extremely customer-focused outlook and good personal standards Excellent planning & organizing skills, can balance several tasks or goals 'on-the-go' A Current General Managers Certificate, as well as a Forklift license,is highly desired!
