Retail Assistant- Shop on Carroll, DunedinListed 4 days Ago Presbyterian Support Otago Retail Retail AssistantRetail, DunedinPermanent, Part-timeWe are looking for someone vibrant, creative and energetic to join our fantastic retail operations team at Shop on Carroll - someone who loves the charity op shop world, who can create jaw-dropping fashion and product displays, and who can whip up engaging social media posts in the blink of an eye, that resonate with our wide, wonderful and varied audience. We are not your normal retail store, so we are looking for someone quite special. You'll have excellent organisational skills, a can-do positive attitude, provide first class customer service, and have a passion for creating a more sustainable retail culture.
The Role In this role, you will work within our retail stores, as well as our warehouse. You will work collaboratively with the Retail Team Leader to make the shop floor the best experience for customers it can be - to greet and interact with all customers and donors, and provide outstanding assistance as required. You will be responsible for product pricing, displays, and replenishment, and have a sales drive second to none, as the funds raised from the store support the foodbank and social services for our charitable organisation, Presbyterian Support Otago.
Hours: Permanent, Part-time- 30 hours per week to be worked 6 hours per day as rostered - you must be able to work Saturdays and Sundays.
Starting date: The role will commence at the end of January or the beginning of February 2025, depending on the right candidate.
