PERMANENT / FULL-TIME ROLE About the business and the role Denny's Restaurants are searching for confident Restaurant Managers to lead in our Porirua Store. Our staff are selected for their genuine attitude to help others. The successful applicants will have a positive & pleasant attitude towards people & a natural inclination to be tidy & be well organized. A "can do" attitude is a must. Denny's Restaurants have been operating across New Zealand for over 30 years. We pride ourselves in providing excellent service & food to our customers. Job tasks responsibilities and experience: A minimum of 1 year Restaurant Manager / Assistant Manager experienceStrong Leadership SkillsGood customer service skillsManagement of staff and staff rostersManagement of stock, rotation of stock and ordering of stock from suppliersBasic computer skills in Microsoft Office, e.g. Word, Excel and EmailExperience in Point of Sale Software will be an advantageMust be able to work on a rotating roster, weekends & public holidaysCurrent Managers Certificate will be an advantage IMPORTANT: NZ Citizens, residents and valid work permit holders can apply.
