An exciting opportunity has been created for a Restaurant Manager to join the award winning team at Theatre Royal Hotel, Theatre Royal is within 20 minutes from the Greymouth and Hokitika , situated on the spectacular wild west coastal. Theatre Royal Hotel Kumara offers a range of accommodation options including two-bedroom miners chalets. The Hotel also features a bustling pub, restaurant, and beer garden.
You will be managing all aspects of the day-to-day operations reporting directly to Capstone Hotel Management, ensuring alignment with the overall strategic and operating plan for the business. This is a hands-on role and candidate is required to have a strong f&b background.
Responsibilities Outstanding leadership skills, previous experience managing a team, recruiting, rostering, training, and supervising staff along with HR experience in all aspects.Have a strong sense of community responsibility with the local area.Lead and motivate a diverse team of professionals, fostering a positive work environment and encouraging personal growth and development.Stock Management Develop and implement effective operational policies and procedures to ensure seamless guest experiences. Excellent, high quality customer service, ensuring positive guest experiences.Handling complaints and overseeing the service recovery procedures. Ensure exceptionally high and consistent standards are met throughout the Restaurant & hotel.Understanding of current Health & Safety obligations, ensuring the Hotel is fully compliant to the SOP's, Policies, procedures, and Service Standards. Qualifications: Previous experience in a similar role. Proven track record of successfully leading and developing teams, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth, manage budgets, and achieve financial targets.
