About the role:Reporting to the Director of Operations you will be responsible for ensuring that all Restaurant operations are run efficiently. Key responsibilities:Manage the daily operation and help deliver the best guest experienceLead and mentor the Restaurant team and create help shape a collaborative culture based on mutual respect and trustReview, implement and maintain operational standards, ensuring efficiency delivery of the highest standards of serviceHandling any guest queries that come through including bookings, special requests etcResponsible for financial management including budgeting, ordering and stock take with accuracy and efficiencyManagement of the team, including payroll, rosters, daily briefings, onboarding, recruitment, performance reviewsTo liaise with the other departments in the hotel on a daily basis to ensure smooth operationsCreate a refined and enticing dining offering that can be delivered efficientlyWe are happy to consider applicants who feel they are at the stage in their career to step into (or currently have the experience) for an Assistant Restaurant Manager position at Rosewood Kauri Cliffs.About you:This is a key position and the successful candidate will need to have strong focus on excellence, plenty of enthusiasm and a flexible approach. The right applicant must be self motivated, a team player and able to work well in a high pressure environment. In addition , the successful candidate will have:A passion for service delivery and hospitalityPrevious management level F&B experience in a fine dining environment, with a minimum of 3 years in a premium quality customer facing environment capacityRelevant Hotel management qualification (tertiary level) Wine qualifications, knowledge and expertiseA commitment to high standards and qualityAbility to drive a team and foster team workAdministrative management experience and sound financial acumenA high level of attention to detail and exceptional organisation skillsA high degree of professionalismAnd a winning personality!Core to the success of the individual in this role is that their personal values are aligned with those of Rosewood Hotels: Ownership, Passionate, Transparent, Innovative and Collaborative.#J-18808-Ljbffr
