Restaurant Manager

Cody's Restaurant is a busy Chinese restaurant in Queenstown , and we are looking for a full-time restaurant manager to join us.
This is a full time and permanent position, immediate start if you are successfully offered the job.
You will work at least 30 hours per week, with hourly rate $30.00-32.00, depends on your skills and experience, responsible for organising and controlling the operations of the restaurant to provide dining and catering services.
Key Duties include: • planning menus in consultation with Chefs • planning and organising special functions • arranging the purchasing and pricing of goods according to budget • maintaining records of stock levels and financial transactions • ensuring dining facilities comply with health regulations and are clean, functional and of suitable appearance • conferring with customers to assess their satisfaction with meals and service • selecting, training and supervising waiting and kitchen staff • may take reservations, greet guests and assist in taking orders We expect the candidates to have: • At least three years of relevant experience or a relevant diploma or higher qualification in management/business/hospitality • Flexibility to work on weeks, nights (up to 10pm) and public holidays when required • Drug free with a clean police record • NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa with unlimited work right.
