Restaurant Manager – The Hoi Polloi Bar & Bistro
We are looking for an experienced, motivated and energetic individual that will take our Bar & Bistro to the next level through exceptional customer service.

Working closely with the Head Chef and General Manager, the ideal candidate will have had or have had recent experience in very busy, highly rated modern style restaurant who perhaps, needs to take the next step in their career development. They are ready to prove what they can achieve.
Their key attributes will be to be a hands-on operator, be reliable, comfortable in accepting responsibility and in making decisions, have a strong work ethic and relish this opportunity.
A valid Liquor Licence is a must.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Day-to-day management of the Restaurant & Bar operation
Developing positive business relationships with customers with the aim of developing a strong repeat business clientele.
Providing leadership in and assisting with the development and implementation of the Restaurant & Bar's strategic plan.
Writing and implementing SOP's for all parts of the Food & Beverage operation
Responsible for keeping the Restaurant booking system and POS up to date at all times with correct menus and pricing.
Responsible for the function booking process.
Responsible for ordering and stock takes as per company policies and procedures
Being responsible for the maximization of the profit contribution of the beverage department
Responsible for recruiting, inducting, training and performance managing of all front of house staff
Ensuring Guest Satisfaction levels are within the stipulated range.
The annual salary range for this position is between $65 - $70k depending on experience and qualifications.
