Restaurant Manager

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate full-time Restaurant Manager to become an integral part of our esteemed Japanese restaurant in Christchurch. This pivotal role requires candidates who embody reliability, hard work, trustworthiness, and commitment to delivering excellent customer service. We are seeking someone that can take the business to a new level. Someone that is passionate about customer service as well as sales and can modernize the operation of the business.
Requirements:
Multilingual is a bonus as we have a very multicultural customer base and workforce.
Must have a manager certificate license.
Valid driver's license.
Demonstrated trustworthiness and ability to work autonomously.
Strong teamwork and leadership skills.
At least 3 years of experience in hospitality.
Proficiency in cash handling.
Expertise in inventory control, costing, and ordering.
Experience in staff rostering.
Capability in organizing group bookings.
Ability to curate special set menus.
Proficiency in paperwork management.
Ability to train new staff and maintain restaurant service levels.
Must have experience in social media marketing as well as email marketing.
