Our goal is to offer a standout dining experience that balances healthy, delicious food with excellent service, ensuring that whether customers dine in or enjoy their meal at home, they always receive top-quality flavors.We are seeking a restaurant manager, who is responsible for managing and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, efficient dining and catering services. The role involves ensuring exceptional customer experiences, managing staff, and maintaining operational standards to meet both customer and business needs.Key ResponsibilitiesTake full responsibility for the day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth and efficient management in the owner's absence.Collaborate with chefs and suppliers to plan menus and daily specials.Ensure food quality and presentation consistently meet high standards.Plan and organize private functions and events.Address operational issues as they arise, ensuring seamless restaurant service.Arrange and manage purchasing of consumables, stock, and services required for restaurant operations.Monitor and maintain company operations within budgetary limits.Keep accurate records of stock levels and financial transactions.Oversee daily cash handling, banking, and financial reporting processes.Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations for dining facilities.Maintain cleanliness and the professional appearance of the restaurant premises.Seek customer feedback to ensure satisfaction with food and service quality.Recruit, train, and supervise restaurant staff to uphold service standards.May take reservations, greet guests, and assist in taking orders to ensure an exceptional customer experience.RemunerationMinimum $31/hour, maximum $33/hourGuaranteed hours of work per weekPermanent Full-timeMinimum 30 hours per weekRequirements for the jobMinimum 2 years of relevant work experienceProven leadership experience in a similar roleMust hold a License Controller QualificationStrong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environmentExcellent problem-solving skills and a strong focus on customer service.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to diffuse tense situations and effectively resolve conflicts.Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and ensure compliance with health and safety regulationsFull-time availability with flexibility to work shifts rostered between:Monday to Saturday: 8:30 AM - 8:30 PM.Sunday: 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM.Able to work on holidays.No criminal record.Candidates need to be NZ citizens/residents or hold valid New Zealand work rights.
