Restaurant & Functions Manager

The Timaru Town and Country Club Inc. is situated on Douglas Street and overlooks the picturesque Highfield Golf Course, which is incorporated with the Timaru Town and Country Club Inc. We currently cater around 1000 meals per week with our function market starting to return to positive times of old. The Club operates over 20 Sporting & special interest groups, from pool & darts to 4WD and Motorcycling. Our premise underwent a major renovation about 6 years ago, making it one of the most modern Clubs in Timaru. Our Membership is currently around 3500 and fluctuates between 3000 & 4000.
Qualifications & Experience We envisage someone with maturity, hospitality experience & professionalism, which is not normally found without a minimum of 5 years experience in a same or similar role. We seek a hospitality personality, a people person, a communicator & someone who leads by example.
Tasks & Responsibilities General running of our restaurant, bar meals & functions venues. Customer & member satisfaction, staff training & control, health & safety, HR and more.
