Oakridge Resort Wanaka is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Front of House professional to join our dynamic team.
In this key role, you'll be the face of our restaurant, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that every guest has a memorable dining experience. You'll be responsible for welcoming guests, managing reservations, coordinating table assignments, and assisting with special requests. Additionally, you will oversee the daily operations of the restaurant floor, working closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service, prompt delivery of food and beverages, and that all guest needs are met promptly.
Your responsibilities will also include maintaining a high standard of cleanliness, ensuring that health and safety regulations are followed, managing guest feedback, and troubleshooting any issues that may arise during service. You'll contribute to the overall dining experience by creating a warm, inviting atmosphere and ensuring that every guest leaves satisfied.
To succeed in this role, you should have strong communication and leadership skills, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and a passion for hospitality. You will also help in training and mentoring junior staff, promoting a positive team environment, and ensuring that all operations meet the high standards of Oakridge Resort.
