Bar & Beverage Staff (Hospitality & Tourism)Looking to expand your skills with a good team in a high volume restaurant and bar for the season?Distinction Te Anau Hotel & Villas are looking for an experienced Duty Manager to work in beautiful Fiordland in our Mackinnon Restaurant and Explorer Bar.Fixed term, from now until April 2025.The RoleFood & Beverage Duty Manager is responsible for supervision and day to day operations of food and beverage team on shift in the hotel. To cover restaurant, bar, room service and function operations whilst maintaining standards and enhancing guest experience. Attend to additional duties as requested by F&B Manager or Operations Manager such as stock take, ordering and ensuring security within the department and safety and wellbeing of employees on shift.The ideal candidate for this role will:Drive revenue and ensuring dinner conversions are maximizedHave at least one year experience in Food and BeverageAbility to multi task and think on their feet in a busy environmentBe pro-active in controlling costs being fully aware of forecasted business and targeted profitability whilst maintaining standards.Continuously works to improve the efficiency of the restaurant by optimism productivity with the lowest possible cost.
