Everything we do comes back to making sure Kiwis can play Lotto New Zealand games safely, whilst returning 100% of our profits back into our communities around Aotearoa.Use your experience in psychology, public health and understanding of gambling and addiction to help lead the delivery of our responsible gambling programme at Lotto NZ. Your day-to-day activities will include providing subject matter expertise, advice, consultancy and training to the business on the best way to prevent and minimise gambling harm for players. You will support Retailers in their responsible gambling duties and manage our at-risk customer process to identify customers displaying risky play behaviour and ensure the provision of timely and relevant support. This will include utilising a new online player behavioural analytics tool. You will draw on data, research and external expertise and connect with external stakeholders including treatment providers to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.Your team:You'll be an important part of a Social Purpose team who are dedicated to minimising harm and the delivery of initiatives focused on strengthening social purpose (community trust and confidence in Lotto NZ). You'll be working alongside our small team to help make a meaningful difference, including ensuring safe and responsible engagement with our products. You will also work proactively with a variety of internal and external stakeholders to input into and successfully deliver our Responsible Gambling Programme.A bit about you:You'll be values driven with a deep care for others and a core desire to make a positive difference. You'll have experience in psychology or public health or the gambling industry and an understanding of gambling harm and addiction. You will:Have at least 3+ years' relevant experience, and/or a relevant tertiary qualification.Be an effective and empathetic communicator, with great interpersonal skills and be comfortable communicating with customers and key external and internal stakeholders. This includes both written and verbal communication skills.Have proven experience in the identification and implementation of projects or new initiatives.Be computer literate, including intermediate level of skills in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.Be competent at interpreting and analysing numerical and technical information and be able to use data to inform insights.Be able to obtain information from multiple sources (research, data etc), interpret it and use it to identify opportunities for improvement.A high level of cultural competency will also be advantageous.Come as you are:We want you to feel at home when you're with us.
