Resource Teacher: Learning and Behaviour - RTLB Cluster 24 New Plymouth Boys' High School – New Plymouth, North Island
We are seeking a successful, experienced, NZ registered teacher, or trained RTLB, with proven skills in working collaboratively and in strengths-based ways with diverse students, whanau and teaching colleagues.
This position will be based in the New Plymouth area. Applicants must be prepared to work across Year levels 1–10 and travel Taranaki-wide.
RTLB postgraduate study is mandatory for teachers who do not hold the RTLB qualification.
Key attributes we are seeking:
Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
A commitment to culturally affirming and Te Tiriti o Waitangi-informed practice
Experienced fully registered teacher (primary or secondary)
Proven effective teaching practice and knowledge of the NZ Curriculum
A Bachelor Degree or equivalent qualification
Full NZ teacher/kaiako registration with a current Teacher Practising Certificate
RTLB qualification or capacity to attain the mandatory qualification
A full driver's licence and the use of a personal, insured and registered vehicle
