This is a fixed term, part-time (0.4 FTE) position. The period of appointment is from November 2024 - April 2025.
The Resource Lead role is an essential role within the Learning Design and Development Directorate, responsible for resourcing projects, managing contracts and ensuring supporting systems, tools and processes are fit-for-purpose.
The Resource Lead reports to the Manager, Learning Development and Processes in the Learning Design and Development directorate, working across the directorate to ensure we have the right people, at the right time to work with our development teams to design excellent courseware for our akonga. We are looking for an enthusiastic and collaborative individual to join our team.
The Resource Lead:Monitors and plans future resourcing levels to ensure resource supply and demand balanceManages contractors working with Learning Design and DevelopmentManages contracts, as well as contracting systemsBuilds up long-term business relationships with external contractorsDesigns, implements and improves resourcing and contracting processes, tools and systemsWe are looking for:A tertiary qualification is essentialRelevant work experience, preferably in a tertiary education environmentExperience in managing staff, budgets, and resourcesFamiliarity and/or experience with educational designExperience in account managementExperience in resource planningWell-developed interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly establish rapport and credibilityContract management skills including dealing with contractual issues and dispute resolution and a good understanding of contract administrationKuratini Tuwhera is Aotearoa New Zealand's leading distance and online learning provider with an enviable reputation in the vocational sector.
