We're on the lookout for passionate Planners to help us achieve the best possible development outcomes for our community. This is a unique opportunity to engage in varied and impactful planning work that supports our community's development and sustainability. As a planner in the Resource Consents Team, your role is about providing high quality, robust planning assessment and evaluation of proposals, to ensure planning outcomes are achieved. You will also have a key role in customer service, helping our customers understand how their plans and aspirations can be achieved in Selwyn. We welcome applications from all levels - Senior Resource Management Planners, Resource Management Planners and Graduate Planners About you As a Planner, you will hold or be completing a tertiary qualification in Urban/Regional Planning, Resource Management or a related discipline which is recognised by the NZPI. Senior Resource Management Planners work on large scale or complex applications, with decision making authority and provide leadership support to the Team Leader in the coaching and mentoring less experienced team members, 5+ years' experience. Resource Management Planners work with increasing independence on a range of applications, assist less experienced team members, 2.5+ years' experience. Graduate Planners with support from other team members, work on a range of applications, 0-2 years' experience.
