This position will support the Resource Consents Manager in efficiently and effectively administering the Resource Management Act 1991.

Nga Kawenga me nga Mahi - Responsibilities and Duties Ensure all applications for consent under the Resource Management Act are processed efficiently with a focus on delivering a high degree of customer service while meeting Council's corporate, community, and legislative requirements.
Work collaboratively and develop a rapport with local communities across the South Waikato District.
Consult, communicate, and work with all stakeholders to deliver works programs and services that meet the needs of the community.
He korero mou: About you We are seeking a dynamic individual who consistently produces quality work, providing effective professional input to the work of the team while working with your colleagues to support a collaborative and innovative team culture.
You will have a proactive nature and a solutions-focused approach to problems that arise, effectively resolving complex consenting matters.
You will have great communication skills and an impeccable ability to communicate complexity into clear and accurate reports.
Ideally, you will have a qualification and/or relevant experience in planning, resource consenting, or another relevant discipline.
