We are in growth mode for the delivery of our subdivisions and construction of high end stand-alone & terraced housing projects on our land developments. The role, based in Wellington, has become available as a Subdivision Civils and Residential Project Manager starting April / May 2024. To be successful in your application you must have a minimum of 6 years' experience as a Project Manager for a Residential, Commercial and or hotel refurbishment companies (or main contractor doing residential projects) and ideally experience in civil subdivision developments in New Zealand. Reporting to the Residential Marketing and Development Manager this role will see you responsible for delivery of projects, from planning to completion in line with contractual and company requirements. To be successful in this role you will need: NZ Trade Certificate, NZ Advanced Trade certificate, NZ Certificate in Building (or similar diploma) Civil Engineering Degree or Bachelor of Building Science Good knowledge of NZ Building Codes - particularly NZS3604 and NZS3915 head conditions of contractExperience in New Zealand Building & Construction industryStrong background in Project Planning and Critical path programming.Sound Theoretical knowledge of Programme management and time extension claims contractual resolution experienceTheoretical knowledge of cost management methodsContract Administration experience Both pre and post contract knowledgeSound ability to assist in-house QS with preparing scopes for estimates, cost plans and bill of quantities for Land development and Residential housing.Experience in Financial reporting on projectsInterim and final accounts with Contractors, Suppliers and Consultants including the resolution of contractual claims and settlement of contractsBe familiar with NZ building methods and productsExperience of working on civil subdivisions and residential projects Financial checks, maintenance of financial controls and monitoring of costs against budgetSupport the team with the preparation, monitoring and management of budgetsKey Personal Skills / Experience: Strong administration abilitiesNumeracy / Accuracy skills essentialA high degree of presentability and adaptabilityBe well organised and committed to the highest possible work standards.Excellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent computer skills in Excel, MS word, Microsoft project, Procore PM software or similarBenefits include: Competitive salary and benefits will be provided for the suitable applicant with an opportunity to grow and develop your career.Please apply with your CV and a cover letter by submitting your application to our careers page: www.primeproperty.co.nz/careers
