We are flexible employers who encourage a healthy work-life balance and individual growth and development.An opportunity has arisen for an Intermediate/Senior Quantity Surveyor role.We're looking for a dynamic and motivated individual who takes initiative to meet deadlines and exceed client expectations.As a residential main contractor, you will be part of a small professional team including QS/Estimators, Construction Manager, Project Managers, and Architectural Designers. You will be fully involved in a variety of residential projects, ranging from median to large residential development projects from tender to completion, with a particular focus on multi-storey, multi-units, multi-terrace, group housing, and low-rise apartment builds.About the Role:Organizing and preparing complete tender sets of construction documents for residential projects.Providing measures of material and labor requirements from supplied contract and tender documents.Managing NZS3910, 3915, 3916 Contracts.Producing accurate and detailed construction programs.Financially managing and supporting the completion of the project within designated budgets.Providing back costing reports.Ideally, you will be:Experienced in the residential industry, with at least 2 years of experience.Knowledgeable about residential construction materials and sub-trades.Proficient in CostX and MS Office software.Proactive, hardworking, punctual, reliable, and possess honest work ethics.Familiar with NZ Construction & Building Materials.Possessing excellent communication skills.A NZ Resident or holder of a valid New Zealand Work Visa.Equipped with good organizational skills and the ability to multi-task under pressure.A team player who can accurately follow instructions.In return, we will:Provide opportunities for professional development.Offer a permanent full-time contract with an attractive salary and benefits.Compensate for overtime hours.Implement a commission system (T&C).Provide visa support if needed.This is a permanent full-time role, and therefore the hours will be steady, as will the workflow.
