Due to the geography of the region, the hospital also provides services to a large rural region. Rotations are available within the following: General Medicine, Cardiology, Geriatric and Stroke, Haematology, Oncology, Renal, Acute Care of Elderly Learning and development is actively encouraged and there is an active clinical training programme with didactic sessions, interactive based teaching, journal club and video-conferencing.
