Head Medical is seeking post foundation trainees (RMO/SHO/CT) for Paediatric positions in Palmerston North - a vibrant and youthful city, set at the foot of the Tararua mountain range. It has all the facilities that you would expect of a city, yet is still compact, accessible and easy to navigate.Enjoy cycling and mountain biking, kayaking, hiking, golfing and more!An ideal central location to explore the rest of the North Island, including beaches in Foxton and Himatangi; fabulous Hawke's Bay and Wairarapa vineyards; premier ski resorts and gorgeous lakes in Taupo and Rotorua.February / March 2025 commencement – 12 month contractSalary $105,672 -$140,082 NZD (depending on experience)The RolePalmerston North Hospital is a 380-bed secondary hospital on the lower North Island, servicing a total catchment population of approximately 200,000 people, of which approximately 90,000 live in the city.The Department offers an excellent training environment for doctors keen to broaden their clinical and procedural skills within the specialty.
