As a Reservations Agent, you will make our guests feel welcome and reflect the exceptional experience that comes when they arrive!Ensuring their stays are memorable as well as comfortable, you will be free to use your initiative to create personalised guest experiences.ResponsibilitiesProcess and input reservations, with appropriate follow through of process as determined by policy and procedure.Work with our loyal agent base and maintain working relationships to ensure their guests have a memorable stay.Ensure thoughtful and appropriate allocation based on customer profile, contractual obligations, and hotel profitability.Assist with our group bookings, assisting with quotes, making the booking and up to the tour leader arrival.Adopt a professional and timely approach to all reservation and sales enquiries, aligned with Accor best practice.Ensure data integrity within the PMS, to ensure completeness and accuracy of all required information.Investigate and advise actions arising from no-shows, through appropriate reports.QualificationsPrevious experience in reservations and/or hotel experience preferred.Proficiency in Opera Cloud or other PMS.Effective time management.Articulate communication skills and an understanding of luxury guest expectations.Self-motivated and enjoy working autonomously.Guest-focused personality is essential.Co-ordinate various tasks simultaneously.Excellent English communication in written and verbal forms.Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.Must hold New Zealand working rights.Additional InformationYour personal loyalty card entitling you to discounted hotel stays, food and beverage rates, and spa treatments worldwide.Daily staff meals during work hours provided.Ongoing reward and recognition incentives and awards.Opportunities for further development and worldwide career progression within Accor.Work for a world-leading global hotel company.
