Job Description
Join our team at Mövenpick BDMS Wellness Resort Bangkok, Thailand, as a Reservation Officer! We're looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused professional to manage hotel reservations and provide exceptional service to our guests.
Handle incoming reservation inquiries via phone, email, and other channels promptly and professionally
Process bookings, modifications, and cancellations using the hotel's reservation system
Provide comprehensive information about room types, rates, packages, and resort amenities to potential guests
Upsell room upgrades and additional services to maximize revenue
Coordinate with other departments to ensure guest requests and special arrangements are fulfilled
Maintain accurate and up-to-date reservation records
Assist in implementing revenue management strategies to optimize occupancy and rates
Generate and distribute daily reservation reports
Address and resolve guest concerns related to reservations
Stay informed about current promotions, events, and changes in hotel policies
Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions to enhance knowledge and skills
Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year experience in hotel reservations or similar customer service role
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Thai and English, with a customer-oriented mindset
Proficiency in MS Office suite and hotel reservation systems (e.g., Opera, Amadeus)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to think on your feet
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management is a plus
