Job Description: Research Internal Funding Coordinator
Position Purpose: The Research Internal Funding Coordinator is responsible for the setup, administration, and maintenance of a robust and transparent internal process related to internal research funds within Massey University. They are responsible for leading ongoing development, modifications, and maintenance on behalf of the Provost, for the suite of Internal Research Funds managed by Research Operations.

Accountabilities:
Oversee, administer, and provide support and guidance to the Internal Support Research Funding rounds managed by Research Operations.
Administer and coordinate assessment committees for all Internal Research Funding.
Coordinate reporting requirements for Internal Research Funding.
Establish and maintain effective and productive working relationships with Research Operations, and across the University.
Develop written and oral meeting communications including University-wide announcements, agendas, and minutes for Internal Research funding assessment committees.
Other duties as required.
Qualifications and Experience:
A tertiary qualification is desirable.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills including customer engagement.
Proficiency in Microsoft tools including PowerApps, SharePoint, and Excel.
An understanding of academic research activities and processes.
An understanding of assessment methods and processes relating to managing proposals submitted to contestable funding.
