Position Overview

Massey University is looking for a dedicated Research Internal Funding Coordinator to spearhead the setup, administration, and enhancement of our internal research funding processes.

This position is part-time, 18.75 hours per week, fixed-term until December 2026. This position is based at Manawatu campus in Palmerston North.

What You'll Do: Oversee the administration of internal research funding rounds and facilitate assessment committees, ensuring a smooth and efficient funding experience for all. Lead the development and maintenance of a transparent internal funding process that supports our researchers and their groundbreaking work. Work closely with a diverse group of stakeholders —from the Provost to academic staff— to ensure seamless communication and support. Why Choose Massey?

Your Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills including customer engagement. Proficiency in Microsoft tools including PowerApps, SharePoint and Excel.
