Repairs Manager

Job DescriptionWe are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association based in Cornwall, who are recruiting for a Repairs Manager on a three-month rolling contract.The position is due to start immediately, with the potential to go full time.
The daily rate of pay is negotiable up to £375 a day via an Umbrella Company.The ideal candidate will have worked within a Social Housing setting delivering a Responsive Repairs service in adherence with budgets and timeframes.Duties will include (but are not limited to):Providing expert guidance to the entirety of the maintenance department on responsive repairs, and damp, mould & condensation.Managing the operational delivery of the repairs department, monitoring KPIs to ensure the service is functioning.Overseeing budgets, ensuring the service is acting in a cost-effective manner.Managing a team of Supervisors, Surveyors, Administrators, and Repairs Coordinators to provide a voids and reactive repairs service to the community and its residents.Overseeing all maintenance and voids contractors, inspecting ongoing/completed work and making recommendations for remedial works.Managing and driving performance of contractors to maintain both quality of service, timely delivery, and value for money services.Experience required:Experience required in Social Housing.Experience delivering a repairs service.Experience ensuring KPIs are being hit by contractors.Experience delivering on budgets, timeframes, and ensuring tenant satisfaction.Working hours:37 hours per week.Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm.Please note that you require recent experience to apply for this role.
