Renewals Lead - Whangarei, New Zealand - Whangarei District Council Esteemed engineering professional sought for Renewals Lead role at Whangarei District Council. This role reports to Transport Projects & Procurement Lead and focuses on providing professional engineering services to manage renewals projects for the Whangarei District.
Contract initiation and administration of professional services contracts
Incorporation of standards into contracts
Review of pavement design elements
Review and approval of technical documents
Implementation of approved renewals works related to roading assets
Estimate, manage and monitor project expenditure
Managing external resources to aid in the successful delivery of the renewals program
Providing technical advice and oversight of the reseal program
We seek a candidate with strong technical knowledge and experience in construction supervision and project management. The ideal candidate will have a tertiary qualification in B Eng, Dip Eng, or equivalent, and approximately 10 years post-graduate experience.
Key skills and attributes include: strong relationship-building skills, good attention to detail, and highly developed documentation, report, and workflow process writing skills.
