The Role We are looking for a Renewables Engineer to join our team, this role is a unique role to manage and deliver effective design and integration of renewable energy connections you will be working closely with wider engineering team, this role will support maximising renewable connections while ensuring optimal performance and safety of our network. You'll also: Manage the preparation and review of detailed designs for renewable connection projects. Ensure all designs meet company and industry standards. Provide support to the wider network team on renewable generation connections related issues. Regularly review technical and maintenance standards, ensure these are up to date and available to relevant parties. Identify safety risks and ensure asset investment strategies and plans give priority to appropriate health and safety outcomes. What you bring to the role: An appropriate tertiary level qualification or equivalent is required. 5+ years industry experience in integration of renewable energy Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles and practices Competency in auditing, root cause analysis and risk management Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment What we offer you: Competitive remuneration package and employee benefits Opportunities for professional growth and development.
