About the Role Do you want to make the world a better place and contribute to our focus on creating renewable sustainable solutions for the future? We are currently seeking a Renewable Energy Engineer to join the team. Based within the Renewables Division, we can offer an opportunity for you to develop a long-term career and growth within an established New Zealand-owned company. Ideally, you'll be based in Whangarei or Auckland, and this is a full-time permanent position.
Working within a small team, you will be contributing your skills and knowledge to plan, design, and when required, manage the delivery of renewable energy projects, contracts, tenders, and early-stage proposals. Our ideal candidate will be a Renewable Energy Engineer or an Electrical Engineer with experience working within the renewable energy sector.
Qualifications, Attributes, and Skills Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering3+ years' work experience in the electrical industry, preferably in renewable power generation and distributionElectrical design knowledge and relevant software skillsProject management experience (mid-sized projects)A problem solver with a solution-focused attitudeThe ability to work well independently and within a team environmentThe ability to build positive working relationships with colleagues and external stakeholdersStrong and effective time management skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong computer literacy skillsAn openness to change and the ability to adapt easily to new work demands and conditionsIf you have a passion for renewable energy and are looking for an opportunity to explore this sector further, we want to hear from you!
