Job DescriptionThe Rendering Operator plays a key part in ensuring that the department is operating effectively. You will also work with the Rendering Plant Supervisor to ensure any maintenance of the area is carried out in a timely and cost-effective manner alongside implementing new systems when appropriate. Training will be provided on the operation of the Rendering Plant Operation.
Occasional weekend/shift work will be required for this permanent position.
Work Experiences:Understanding of food manufacturing and or engineering would also be considered.Organisational skills and the capability to cope with a variety of priorities and demands.Communicate effectively and work well within a team.Computer literacy and administrative experience would be an advantage.A strong commitment to Health and Safety.Mechanical knowledge would be an advantage.Additional InformationTo ensure a safe workplace, AFFCO engages in pre-employment medical checks and drug screening.
