Whangarei is seeking a Renal Physician to join Te Whatu Ora, Te Tai Tokerau.
This is a full-time permanent position (1.0 FTE).

You could be our 7th Physician to join our remarkable team responsible for an area of significant clinical need.

We are just two hours' drive from the international hub of Auckland.
Whangarei is the largest hospital in Northland, providing secondary care services for the region supported by three district hospitals in Kaitaia, Bay of Islands, and Dargaville.
Northland covers an area of 12,600 square kilometres and has a growing population of more than 190,000.
We want candidates with a real enthusiasm for teaching who are team players committed to improving and developing services to meet the population need with a passion for the delivery of equitable healthcare.
To be considered you must have or be eligible for specialist (or locum tenens) registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand in an Internal Medicine vocational scope of practice.
Specialists from the UK, U.S, Canada, Australasia, and some parts of Europe and Scandinavia will be eligible to apply.
You will also possess FRACP or an equivalent qualification.
Trainees within a few months of completing training are welcome to express an interest.
