Renal Clinical Physiologist / Registered Nurse - Renal Dialysis / Nephrology Health New Zealand / Te Whatu Ora is firmly grounded in the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and is dedicated to serving all New Zealanders. About the role
The unit's focus is to provide home haemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis training, home, and clinic-based support, throughout the Southern region in peritoneal and haemodialysis.
We aim to provide the following:
Best possible care for all our patients requiring renal replacement therapy
Consistent care in line with our vision and values
Promoting wellbeing, independence, and an optimal quality of life
Total commitment towards Home Dialysis treatment for all chronic dialysis patients with ongoing support for patients/family/whanau

About you
Must have current registration with the New Zealand Nursing Council and a current APC, with the right to work in New Zealand
Personable, highly flexible, and adaptable
Able to work in a high output area
Recent experience working in a dialysis unit is required
Competency with te ao Maori, tikanga, and te reo Maori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth
Experience in projects/initiatives which give effect to Te Tiriti principles and frameworks, and the application of Matauranga Maori and Kaupapa Maori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings

Salary range
This role is covered by the terms and conditions of the APEX Clinical Physiologist CEA and the salary will be in accordance with the Clinical Physiologists Pay Scale, between $77,087 and $107,600 p.a pro rata depending on relevant experience.
This role is covered by the terms and conditions of the NZNO CEA and the salary will be in accordance with the RN Pay Scale, between $75,773 and $106,739 p.a pro rata depending on relevant experience.
