Job Description:

BB&T Corp. is seeking a dedicated and confident Remote Support Manager to join our team in Hamilton, Waikato, NZ. As a Remote Support Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of remote support specialists who provide technical assistance to our clients.

Responsibilities:
1. Manage and lead a team of remote support specialists to ensure timely and effective resolution of technical issues.
2. Develop and implement processes and procedures to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the remote support team.
3. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to address them.
4. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of support efforts.
5. Provide training and mentorship to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
6. Handle escalated customer issues and ensure timely resolution.
7. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve the remote support team's performance.

Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical support role, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial position.
3. Strong people management and decision-making skills.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
6. Experience with remote support tools and technologies.
7. Knowledge of ITIL best practices is a plus.
