HK has been crafting beautiful, functional kitchens in Tauranga for over 40 years. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality kitchens that stand the test of time. Our state-of-the-art Tauranga manufacturing facility ensures that every HK kitchen is built to the highest standards, backed by a reputation for quality and reliability.
Our HK service is second to none; you feel like you are getting the personal touch of a small family business, however, we are a sizeable team. We employ around 80 staff, with the majority based out of our Tauranga factory and a number scattered in Auckland to service our building partners. We manufacture kitchens, wardrobes, vanities, and sculleries, delivering them with smiles throughout the North Island to our happy clients.
The Role:
Fixed Term 15 January 2025 – 14 February 2026 (Parental Leave Cover)
As our Remedial Coordinator at HK, you'll be a key link in our client services team, ensuring that all remedial work (repairs and maintenance) is planned, scheduled, and completed to a high standard, on time. With the client experience always top of mind, your role will focus on providing exceptional customer service and clear communication throughout the entire process.
While you'll be working in a joinery environment, prior experience as a joiner is not necessary. Strong administrative skills, combined with logistical, problem-solving, and coordination expertise, will be your foundation. As you grow with HK, our team will support you in learning the technical aspects of the role.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate remedial tasks, including planning, scheduling, documentation, and communication.
Dispatch, schedule and oversee out-of-town remedial work for our installers around the country.
Represent HK with professionalism, ensuring excellent customer service throughout the client journey.
Coordinate with Installations Coordinator and assist where necessary.
What We're Looking For:
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft software (Outlook, Excel) and ideally Smartsheet.
Excellent time management, multitasking skills, and a keen eye for detail.
Ability to problem-solve and collaborate effectively with others.
Experience in joinery is not required, but it would be an advantage.
