Exporting at a domestic and international level, we are made up of immensely proud individuals who are truly passionate about the world-class products we produce.The RoleBased at our Hokitika site, we are looking for a Reliability Technician to assist with the identification and management of asset reliability risk that could adversely affect plant or business operations. Reporting to the Lead Reliability Engineer, this role will assist with the development of a reliability-based maintenance strategy, based on preventative and predictive maintenance. Also assisting with loss elimination, risk management and life cycle asset management, this role will be one of the first points of contact for plant down time, reliability and root-cause analysis.The Reliability Technician will also carry out and complete proactive and planned maintenance of all plant, machinery, buildings and services, including inspection, troubleshooting, repairs and replacement of mechanical and electrical systems as required.The Successful Candidate Will Ideally PossessAn engineering background with specific manufacturing plant experienceKnowledge of maintenance diagnosticsIdeally a trade qualification in Engineering or similar.Excellent verbal and written communication skillsThe ability to ensure that work is completed to a high standard and to meet deadlinesA proactive and cooperative approach and the ability to work as part of a small teamThe ability to identify issues relating to R&M and site services that need resolutionAbility to manage time and prioritise and organise workloadProficiency with basic office computer softwareA high level of problem-solving capability.A bonus would be any reliability specific training such as VCAT 1, 2 or 3, Ultrasound, Asset management, field lubrication, Infrared.Full training will be provided in the reliability field, and this is a great opportunity to grow and develop your knowledge in an exciting and growing area of engineering.
