Release Train Engineer - Permanent Role
Our client is looking for an experienced Release Train Engineer who will be responsible for optimising the flow of value through the Agile Release Train (ART) by organising and facilitating SAFe events and ceremonies. This role is technical, particularly in the areas of Data, Analytics and Integration. While integration is a preferred skill, it is not essential. This will be a permanent role and based in Wellington.

Demonstrated skills in joint leadership of a team, taking a highly collaborative approachSignificant and proven experience in directing product delivery in a complex enterprise scale organisationExperienced in Lean/Scaled Agile leadership and ways of working, with a proven ability to role model the right behaviours and mindsetsExcellent planning, financial management and organisational skills, and the ability to delegate, meet deadlines and work under pressureExperience leading the introduction and adoption of new methodology/ways of working, through influencing and role-modelling behaviours across the organisationStrong ability to optimise the flow of value by helping teams optimise for flow efficiency by supporting the quick removal of impediments, sharing context, intention-based communication, and risk reductionSystems thinker with a strong ability to use solid judgement to prioritise complex tasks, make timely decisions, and solve problemsStrong interpersonal and communication skills, particularly in relation to negotiation, conflict resolution and delivering information effectively to various audiencesProven experience and success in leading and motivating large teamsWell-developed interpersonal, communication and conflict resolution skills with the ability to effectively engage at Enterprise Senior Management and Executive levelsWhat you need to do now…
