Release Teacher

We are seeking a permanent part-time release teacher to join our awesome teaching team at Avonhead School in 2025. The year level and days of release for this position will be negotiated with the successful candidate.
At Avonhead, we have a strong sense of community and thrive on forming great partnerships with our teachers, tamariki, and families. We are looking for an enthusiastic teacher who is able to work collaboratively with like-minded practitioners to deliver innovative, rich, and inclusive classroom programmes. Up-to-date curriculum knowledge and pedagogical practice are essential. Strengths in Structured Literacy, culturally responsive practice, and ICT are also advantageous.
