We are looking for a Relationship Property Associate / Senior Associate between 5-8 years PQE to join the team. This firm has a strong focus in this area, with a Partner in the team being well known in the community for servicing these types of cases and bringing in lots of future work.
What you'll do:
As a Relationship Property Solicitor, you will play a crucial role in handling relationship property cases and contributing to the growth of the practice. You will work closely in a team of 3, with support from a Partner who has considerable experience in this area. You'll be mentoring more junior solicitors in this area as well so we are looking for someone with great leadership skills who enjoys developing others.
The main work will include:
Contracting out agreementsRelationship property settlementsSeparation agreementsA small amount of PPPR Act work, trusts, wills and EPOAs We are looking for someone hard-working and empathetic who wants to build their career in this area in Christchurch. Experience in Care of Children and/or general Civil Litigation matters would be advantageous, but not an essential.
