Our rural bankers have a good grasp of rural business realities; many are farmers themselves or have experience in farming and they are very much a part of their local community.
We have four exciting opportunities for Rural Relationship Managers to join our team with roles in Otago, Blenheim, Canterbury and Te Awamutu. Working alongside experienced Rural leaders you will be responsible for the development and ongoing management of complex Rural business from within a current portfolio; assisting these businesses to meet their financial objectives through the promotion of ASB products & services suited to their ongoing individual needs.
As part of your day to day activities, you will prepare, analyse and communicate complex large-scale credit transactions, manage your customers' lending, deposit, one team referrals and other banking requirements to ensure we are providing solutions best suited to their financial needs. You will establish strong working relationships with your customers; providing outstanding customer service to a portfolio of high net worth individuals and key industry leaders. Ultimately you will assume the lead responsibility for these customers as you develop in the role.
This is an outstanding development opportunity for someone with experience and a proven track record in analysing and structuring complex proposals, with outstanding communication, organisational and time-management skills. Typically, this role would appeal to an experienced Rural banker with strong financial literacy and an understanding of the Rural sector, looking to further develop your career.
