Be part of a close-knit team of four Paediatricians and eight Resident Medical Officers, supported by a nursing team, Play Specialist, Allied Health and support staff, providing comprehensive medical, orthopaedic and surgical services to patients from birth through to 16 years of age.

The opportunity to see children with wide and varied pathologies, in a service supported by strong links with tertiary providers throughout New Zealand.
The role varies to provide a comprehensive general Paediatric service, a number of clinic options, and a level two Neonatal service that supports up to 1600 deliveries per annum.
Our ideal candidate will have:
Registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand or be eligible for general or provisional general registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand. You can check your eligibility for registration by visiting the Council's website at www.mcnz.org.nz
A minimum of 3 years post qualification experience and having a keen interest in Paediatrics
It is requirement of the NZ Medical Council that your qualifications are approved through EPIC. If you have a commitment to working in New Zealand, it is highly recommended

This role is covered by the terms and conditions of New Zealand Resident Doctors' Association & 20 DHB Multi Employer Collective 17 May 2021 – 31 March 2024 (NZRDA MECA) and Specialty Trainees of New Zealand and Te Whau Ora Health New Zealand RMO Collective Agreement 14 February 2024 – 28 February 2026 (the STONZ SECA) and the salary will fall between $113,007 - $240,440 dependant on relevant experience.
