Seeking registrars in general medicine for full time positions with a premier general hospital on the east coast of New Zealand's North Island commencing February or August 2025.
Position Highlights

6-12 month contracts
40 hour week plus on call duties
FTE post in a large, secondary level, 400-bed accredited public facility providing acute and elective care for a region of over 176,000 people.
Operates air retrieval service
Department of Medicine has 9 ward-based teams with 20 Dual Trained Internal Medicine Physicians, 24 Registrars, 15 House Officers, and Trainee Intern support.
Current runs include Cardiology, Respiratory, Endocrinology, General Medicine with Neurology and Older Peoples' Health, Renal, Acute Admitting, and outpatient-based Medical Oncology and Haematology.
Accredited for basic RACP training.
Junior Medical Registrar positions to support the transition from Senior House Officer to Medical Registrar.
A formal mentoring programme is also being established to provide additional support and advice, especially regarding wellbeing and career advancement.
Requirements

Medical degree
PGY3 + experience
Eligibility for general registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand
Benefits
