Do you want to join our team? New Shoots Tauranga are looking for a full-time, qualified preschool team leader to join us and form strong, kind, and meaningful relationships with our tamariki. You will have previous leadership experience and enjoy bringing strength, knowledge, and fun into a team.
New Shoots Tauranga has a team of authentic, genuine, and committed teachers that truly make every single child and their family feel special and an extension of the New Shoots whanau. Children are respected, and their individual and unique personalities are nurtured. We are influenced by the RIE, Pikler, and Howard Gardner philosophies, so if you have experience in these or it simply aligns with your own philosophy, you will be a great fit in our centre.
We are looking for a Team Leader who is:
Confident in their teaching and leadership practices
Strong in their planning and documentation - particularly individual learning plans and internal evaluation
An excellent communicator and listener
Experienced with preschoolers and takes pride in their respectful practice
Has a creative mind with the ability to create exciting and intriguing provocations that extend on our tamariki's learning
Amazing in building genuine and strong relationships with children, families, and team members
Creative in their team culture initiatives and brings an ability to unite and uplift
