About the Role As a Registered Nurse, you are responsible for providing nursing care that is safe, cost effective and of the highest quality in accordance with the evidence, professional standards, organisational standards and policy and procedure. 
You will work as part of a team in a peer-supported environment, where everyone wants to deliver great quality care to our residents and ensure they have a positive experience whilst living in our Homes. You will also have the opportunity to share in our values based approach and be part of a not for profit service specialising in the support of older people.
Hours of work will be 32 hours per week rostered and may include ams / pms and nightshifts, and weekends so an ability to work across all of these would be ideal, talk to us about what you may be looking for.
About You As well as a passion for the wellbeing of older people, you will be enthusiastic but patient and well organised with great interpersonal skills and sense of humour. You will share our values of empathy, compassion, and respect and operate with a person centred approach and high standards of quality care.
You will have great people skills, whether you are spending time with staff or residents, it's all about the way we communicate with each other and how we get the job done that counts and makes the difference to everyone's day. If you do not already live in Taranaki, we will help you make the move to be there! 
Along with excellent communication and a quality improvement focus, you will hold:
NZ Registered Nurse with current Annual Practising Certificate At least 1 years' full time equivalent RN experience in provision of care to older adultsExperience working in a sole charge role would be great, but it's not essentialInterrai training would be an advantage - but we can train youBenefits – what's in it for me?
