About the Opportunity Kimberley Renal Services is seeking qualified and passionate Registered Dialysis Nurses (RN Levels 1 & 2) to join their dedicated teams at Kimberley Renal Services, providing dialysis services across our centres in Kununurra, Derby, and Fitzroy Crossing.
RN Level 1 Responsibilities Deliver culturally safe nursing care to patients in line with best practice guidelinesProvide support and mentorship to junior staff and participate in team developmentManage a client caseload and contribute to quality improvement initiativesWork collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team to achieve patient-centred careRN Level 2 Responsibilities Building on the responsibilities of Level 1, RN Level 2 nurses take on additional leadership and clinical oversight roles.
In addition to the duties listed above, Level 2 nurses will:
Coordinate shifts and provide support to the clinical teamMentor junior staff with a focus on skill developmentWho are we looking for? RN Level 1 Minimum Requirements Hold a Nursing Qualification and current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)Have at least 12 months' experience in haemodialysis nursing or be enrolled in a recognised training programShow a commitment to cultural safety and the philosophy of Aboriginal Community ControlDemonstrate effective interpersonal communication and organisational skillsRN Level 2 Minimum Requirements Hold a Nursing Qualification and current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)Have a minimum of five years' experience in renal dialysis nursingDemonstrate cultural competence and a commitment to community-led healthcarePossess initiative and a proactive approach to improving patient care and outcomesA renal certificate is highly regarded but not essential for either level.
